Sunday, February 15, 2009 ( ONE HELL OF A DAY ) Yesterday was Valentine's Day but well this day does not really hold any special meaning to me...well..because I'm single hahas.. Went out yesterday at 5.10pm and reached "The Cathay" at Douby Ghaut at around 5.30pm.. was hoping to catch Underworld:Rise of the Lycans on my own because my friends dont really fit the category of 18 or above..what an emo guy k3nny is really.. watching a movie all alone.. but it turns out that I checked the wrong timing with my computer earlier on. I checked for the timing of CINELEISURE CATHAY ZZZZZZZZZ WTH i thought the one at Douby was called Cineleisure. WHY the hell do they name that place "The Cathay" anyway... seems like they ran out of names and some genius just decided : " HEY LETS CALL IT "The Cathay"! It seems original to me!" and so.. I missed the show...That's when my Mum called me and asked me to go out and eat a buffet with her and some friends of hers. I told her my attire might not be appropriate because I initially intended to come out on my own but she said it was ok, just a buffet she said. I was wearing these slippers(typical Singaporean I am) and some pants. So we went to Takashimaya to meet up with her friends and had the buffet. Buffet was ok .. some sort of restaurant..cost about 45+ bucks but I was very very full by the end of it. =D We walked around Taka for awhile before someone suggested we go to a pub. Again I question them about my attire and still they said it was ok. It was a regular pub..Only my second time to such a place =x Drank quite alot.. played cards..played some pool with random strangers..kept losing(All adults T_T) but I managed to win the bartender! Hahas quite fun but the pub had to close at 2am so we had to think of another place to "chiong" overnight lols.. so they know someone from St. James Powerhouse..so they decided to go there next. That was when trouble began.. cause I was wearing these stupid slippers and pants. So when we arrived they decided to go in to the pub beside St.James, called Dragonfly. The security said I couldn't wear short pants inside so I was like WTF? I was the only one with the weird attire and so...... I had to rush home and change.. luckily its like only 7dollars away from my house (taxi fare -.-) had an interesting experience with the taxi driver as well as he was shocked I was going somewhere so near...(bad business for him) but I told him I was going home just to change and will be going back. He talked about all the pubs and such and lots of vulgarities interchanging between us..ah.. what an intellectual conversation we had. I left my I.C with him and I rushed home to change before rushing back down again. LoL the epic thing is when we got back to Firefly. Lots of epic fights hahas... There was this incident where this girl was drunk and she just started raining blows on this guy and the thing is he actually fought back.. they looked like friends.. wow the power of alcohol at work. And they were like blocking the taxi path for a moment there fighting before their friends managed to calm them down. When I alighted the taxi I called my Mum and she said that the age requirement of Dragonfly was 23 years old.WTF??!?!?!! And one of our friend that went in was 20 and he was caught by the bouncer for being underage. Fortunately he let him in because we knew one of the guys there. One of my female friends came back out and I was like " HOW TO GO IN I'M ONLY 18!" then she said just try "pia" la then she handed me the membership card and she hugged my arm and we acted like a couple to try to "fool" the bouncer(btw that was her idea). We strode pass the bouncer and I flashed the membership card. EPIC THING IS WE PASSED LOL AND IM IN !!! WOWWWWWWW!!! I DUNNO HOW THE **** IT HAPPENED BUT I MANAGED TO PASS OFF AS 23!!! We went to the second floor because the ground floor was like fulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll with people. My mum and friends were there and we immediately began drinking again haha what a fun night! We stayed around Dragonfly till 5am and when we got out another epic thing happened. There was this guy chionging out of the pub with his phone in his hand shouting "WHERE ARE THEY! I NOW ON THE WAY! THEY BETTER DONT FORCE ME BRING MY PARANG TOU AND HACK THEM!" ANOTHER EPIC FIGHT BREWING! Then the guy's group of friends(like 15-20 people) came out and they were shouting here and there ..something about another group of people that offended them. Then they waited there and there was another group of people who came out(about 10 people) and they started quarrelling. It was an epic big quarrel and the whole security and bouncer team had to come out and try to resolve the issue. They started exchanging vulgarities at each other and the funny thing is the management team kept shouting "MADA LAI LIAO MADA LAI LIAO " to scare them to disperse. There was a crowd gathering around to watch the "show" and this guy beside us said "WAH FREE SHOW MUST WATCH!" then he also said "wah..they talk so much.. if me arh.. I straight wack liao!" LoL at this guy. We were watching the quarrel getting worse and suddenly this girl from the first group threw a punch at another girl at the second group. WOW! hahas girls are so violent. The other girl fell and fainted for awhile while the management team managed to make the mob disperse.. the girls' friends helped the girl(the one that got punched) up and when she recovered she kpkb them back again. LIKE WTF??? PEOPLE ALL DISPERSE LIAO THEN SHOUT ZZZ... and so that concludes my interesting night.. I got a cab home and wala! I'm here writing this pile of bull. I guess I really have nothing to do.. HaHas.. 6:21 AM |
